Paint Along December -Master Shadows in Landscapes

Shadows are more than dark shapes—they are a vital component in landscapes. In this workshop, master artist Johannes will teach several must-know principles for creating painterly, see-through shadows with vivid colors that guide the viewer’s eye. Working from photos or plein air without proper training can degrade your shadows, but with the right approach, you’ll capture the subtle interplay of light and dark for landscapes that feel dynamic and three-dimensional.
